Godzilla is headed to the small screen with a TV show coming to Apple TV+ in the future.
“The MCU is definitely king when it comes to cinematic universes, but Legendary’s Monsterverse isn’t doing too shabby. Between 2014’s Godzilla, 2017’s Kong: Skull Island, 2019’s Godzilla: King of the Monsters, and 2021’s Godzilla vs. Kong, the franchise has raked in almost $2 billion globally. And now it’s expanding with a streaming series on Apple TV+.”
The Microsoft purchase of Activision Blizzard is certainly a huge deal, but will they ever be able to surpass the success of Nintendo’s peak?
“In 2022, Microsoft didn’t buy a small company with a handful of bestsellers; they bought a global mega-conglomerate with over 400 million active users. The wake is larger, the waves choppier than ever. Nintendo would be foolish to stand pat, to not deploy a counter-measure… right? Yet I expect Nintendo to do what they’ve done for decades: The unexpected. Even if that means doing nothing at all.”
In a scene that could’ve easily been missed, James Bond’s iconic weapons guy Q comes out in No Time To Die, but actor Ben Whishaw was not satisfied with the reveal.

Daniel Craig’s swan song was an overstuffed send-off, with the return of old flames and foes, as well as the introduction of new team members and beloved franchise mainstays. The film also features the first openly queer character in a Bond ensemble with Ben Whishaw’s weapons inventor and tech genius Q.”

If you’ve been searching for a more accurate depiction of Jack Reacher (unlike the Tom Cruise version), look no further than Amazon Prime’s new series.
“The idea of a streaming series based on the Jack Reacher novels by Lee Child sounds like such a no-brainer, it’s tempting to wonder what took so long—until you remember the ill-fated attempt to turn the novels into a movie franchise starring Tom Cruise. Even those who have never read the books probably recall the casting controversy that erupted when Cruise was announced as the big screen’s Reacher. The character in the books is a 6-foot-5, 250-pound hulk of a man. Tom Cruise is… not.”
